The Slater | Grant Veteran Scholarship

The personal injury attorneys of Slater | Grant are committed to supporting our veterans.

There are 21.8 million veterans in the United States. These veterans have sacrificed unselfishly for our country. Unfortunately, many times their service and sacrifice are forgotten. Veterans hold a special place in the hearts of the personal injury attorneys at Slater | Grant. Both founding attorneys dedicate a portion of their practice to helping veterans with legal needs. Attorney J. Scott Slater is a contributing member of the ABA Military Pro Bono Project, an organization which assists active military by providing access to pro bono civil lawyers, and attorney L. Javan Grant routinely helps local veterans who are in need of legal services.

To show continued appreciation and commitment to our veterans, Slater | Grant has established a $1,000 scholarship for an individual who can best describe how growing up with a veteran in their family, having a close relationship with a veteran, or being a veteran themselves, has influenced their education and career goals.
